The idea

From “what’s nearby?” to “that’s the one”

Taste brings restaurant exploration and the dining experience into one place. People can discover food around them, look closer at a restaurant, and contribute their own perspective.

The browsing view puts dishes first, with ratings, distance, and saved items close at hand. Restaurant details bring together photos, practical information, and menus for the next decision.

Participation

The experience continues after the meal

A review can be tied to a restaurant and a specific item, then enriched with a rating and photos. Other diners can browse those perspectives and mark the ones they find helpful.

Design led by me, shaped together

I handled the design independently, using Sketch as the primary tool and Principle to prototype interactions. Product owners Brandon Hewitt and Badri Srinivasan gave quick, valuable feedback throughout.
